Welcome to Workym ("the App"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our workout tracking application.

Data Collection and Usage

Information You Provide

Workym collects information that you voluntarily provide when using the app:

- Workout Data: workout names, dates, selected icons

- Exercise Data: names, exercise groups

- Exercise Statistics: weight, repetition counts, completion status

- Profile Information: fitness goals, experience level, preferences

- Profile Photos: if you choose to add them to the app

Local Data Storage

Workout tracking data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData technology. This data is not transmitted to external servers unless you use features that require cloud services (such as AI Coach).

Account and Authentication

When you sign in using Sign in with Apple, we collect:

- Your Apple ID identifier (anonymized)

- Display name (if you choose to share it)

- Email address (if you choose to share it)

This information is used solely for account authentication and is stored securely using Firebase Authentication, a service provided by Google. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

AI Coach and Third-Party AI Services

IMPORTANT: If you use the AI Coach feature, the following data is sent to OpenAI for processing:

- Your chat messages with AI Coach

- Workout history and exercise data (sets, reps, weights)

- Fitness profile information (goals, experience level, preferences)

This data is transmitted to OpenAI's servers to provide personalized fitness guidance. OpenAI processes this data according to their privacy policy at https://openai.com/privacy.

You will be asked to provide explicit consent before any data is shared with OpenAI. You can revoke this consent at any time in the app's Settings, which will immediately stop data sharing with OpenAI.

AI Coach conversation history is stored in Firebase Firestore (Google Cloud) and is associated with your account. You can delete your conversation history at any time within the app.

Subscription and Payment Data

Workym offers subscription services through Apple's App Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information, credit card details, or billing address. Analytics and Third-party Services

We use Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the app. This helps us improve the user experience. Firebase Analytics may collect:

- App usage patterns

- Crash reports

Data Protection

We take the security of your data seriously:

- Local data is protected by iOS built-in security features, including encryption and app sandboxing

- Cloud data is encrypted in transit and at rest

- We use industry-standard security practices for data transmission

Data Backup

If you use iOS backup features (iCloud Backup), local app data may be included in the backup. These backups are managed by Apple according to their privacy policy.

User Rights

- Access and Correction: All your data is accessible in the app and can be edited at any time

- Deletion: You can delete any workout, exercise, or conversation data through the app interface

- AI Consent: You can revoke AI Coach data sharing consent at any time in Settings

- Complete Removal: When you delete the app and your account, all associated data is removed

- Data Export: Contact us if you need a copy of your data

Data Retention

- Local workout data: Stored until you delete it or uninstall the app

- Account data: Retained until you delete your account

- AI Coach conversations: Retained until you delete them or your account

- Analytics data: Retained in anonymized form for up to 14 months

Children's Privacy

Workym is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by updating the "Last Updated" date. We recommend checking this page periodically for any changes.
